We do love a pong here at Ten Towers. A nice pong, mind you. And She Came To Stay, a fougere fragrance by Edition Perfumes, can certainly be classed as a nice pong. Created by Timothy Han, a former assistant of John Galliano, it has top notes of geranium, basil, lemon, clove, nutmeg and cedarwood and a base of patchouli, vetiver, labdanum and oakmoss. Warming, no? To add to the spice, the fragrance is based on the story of Simone de Beauvoir's relationship with Jean Paul Sartre when they bring a third person into their lives. As I say, spicy. This, according to Garth, is known as a 'trouple'. Not a 'truffle', as Will misheard. It's exactly what we're hoping to find under our Christmas trees. (The fragrance, not a trouple. Imagine that!) But seriously Father Christmas, if you're reading, please give us some bottles of She Came To Stay. We've been very good boys and girls this year. Promise.
She Came To Stay has launched exclusively at Browns Fashion in London.
